This segment offers electroluminescent displays and liquid crystal displays (LCD), which include active-matrix LCDs and passive LCDs for use in various applications and industries, such as instrumentation, medical equipment, retail installations, vehicle dashboards, and military applications. The Commercial segment provides LCD desktop monitors, touch displays, and business projectors. The Control Room and Signage segment provides high-resolution video walls for the security, governmental, telecom, energy, industrial, broadcast, and transportation sectors, as well as sells scalable video-wall displays and large-area flat screen digital signage products. The Home Theater segment offers various products comprising home theater projection systems, video processing equipment, large-format thin displays, and accessories to custom home installation dealers primarily under the Runco brand name. The company was founded in 1983 and is based in Beaverton, Oregon.
